Hamei News Group is alocal weekly paper with the objectives to expose each and every one of the place to global issues by publishing the paper in local dialect "Zeliangronglad" under the nomenclature "Pawan Racham", basically the paper is published in Liangmai dalect. Centralized to bridge the information divide/gap the Hamai News Group started launchig their first paper with an assistance from Commmunity Information Centre, Tamei Block, covering Assam, Manipur & Nagaland on this day the 10th June 2003.
