Dimapur[NPN]:Villagers of Jalukie Zandi, Jalukiekam and Jalukieram have condemned the ‘willful’ illegal activities of Jalukie Sangtam village.
In a joint press statement issued by chairman of, Jalukiekam, Jalukieram and Jalukie Zandi villages, stated that Jalukie Sangtam village was recognized in 2005, whereas Jalukie Zandi Village was recognized in 1991 with Forest Approach Road (North), Libemphai Village (South), Kechiangreu (East) and Jalukiekam Village (West) as boundaries.
It also said that Jalukie Sangtam villagers were violating the government demarcated areas by forcefully encroaching land, burning houses, stealing CGI sheets and harassing villagers for which the villagers felt necessary to condemn the inhuman act against the peace loving villagers. Villagers of the three villagers have further appealed Jalukie Sangtam villagers to stop such ‘willful’ illegal activities before the situation turns into worst for which the responsibilities have to be borne by the Jalukie Sangtam villagers itself. |
